Happy Thanksgiving!
I am truly grateful to be back in the classroom with a great group of children! Today we enjoyed a beautiful park. We took some time to be grateful for the beautiful surroundings and did a little bit of yoga.
We also created some beautiful sunflower weavings this afternoon! What an amazing garden they make!
Enjoy the weekend!

Happy Thursday!!

I don't know about you, but I'm crossing my fingers for some rain today... it is so very dry.
I came across a neat activity that you might like to try. I came across it when I started following Debbie Ridpath Ohi on Twitter. She's an illustrator of many famous picture books (I'm Bored, I'm Worried, Where Are My Books?). It's called Found Object Art.
So- my challenge to you...
Find something....anything.... it could be an object (or just part of one), some food, or just a piece of it... put it on a piece of paper and draw a scene around it! Kind of like a Doodle Loop!! Send me a picture of your art and I will post for everyone to share!!
Have a wonderful day!!

Good morning!
Hello there! Thanks for being patient with my blog posts. Teachers are busy getting organized to have some kids come back to their classrooms. I'm so excited!! We are putting things in place to make sure that everyone is as safe as possible when you come back.
Let me know if you have any questions that you're wondering about...remember...
ASKING QUESTIONS IS SMART!!
Send me a message, email, or call me at the school and I'll be happy to answer your questions the best that I can.
Your families will be getting some information from Mr. Grandfield about our back to school plan. Stay tuned... I will also post the info here.
Got faces? Remember the neat pics we saw in the smile break (it was #27)...
Thanks, Maelle, for being on the lookout for faces in the spaces around you! Anybody else find some? I'd love to see and share them too!
The Wild Robot Escapes Ch 76, 77 and 78... hold on to your hats! Buckle up! This is getting exciting!! (Can you tell how much I love this story??)

Some Good News for Topdogs!
Happy Monday! I'm happy to say that we're able to have children back at Taylor School in small groups! This means that we'll be able to get together as a small group at least once to enjoy each others' company and do some activities. This is a decision that each family will make for themselves and I am grateful that we have this chance!
I hope you had a great weekend and I look forward to hopefully seeing many of you in person in our class in the near future!
Enjoy your day!!
