PJ Day!

???? You guessed it! Spirit Week is here! Wahooooo! The week we've been waiting for the whole year!! Today was PJ day. You can tell from the pics that some of us really wished more napping could have been involved in our day! There are a few of us who like to ham it up for an audience!

Lucky Leprechauns

We had fun today with some Lucky Charms and a pair of dice. Each player could place their 12 pieces of cereal on any number of the game board. It was so much fun....and we didn't mind munching on some sweet cereal too!!!

Monday Morning Pep Talk

When I went to a workshop last week, the presenters shared this awesome little video with us.  So I shared it with 3A this morning to get our week going on the right foot!  We decided that we were going to work hard to be awesome and do things to make each others' day because, after all, we're all on the same team!  Enjoy!

Magnetic Attraction

We spent some time exploring our class and hallway on the look for items that may be attracted to magnets. We made a prediction and then tested it out. Let's just say we had a few surprises- like Mrs. Maks' key for the iPad cabinet, the door handle to out class, and the metal border around our bulletin boards! We were amazed to find out that not all metal is attracted to a magnet. Go figure!
