Rainy Day Art Project

We took advantage of the rainy day to finish the project was started yesterday.  We traced large fall leaves, then talked about filling them in by blending fall colours. The class then finished the project by doing a paint wash. They look fantastic!

Reader's Theatre

We had fun taking a short story called "Vernon's Questions" and turning it into a short & sweet reader's theatre presentation. The story is a conversation between a curious little brother asking his older sister a ton of questions while she is trying to watch her favourite TV show. We made lots of connections!!

Stampeder Visit

Thanks to the Stampeder hockey players that came out to visit our classes today. We had a ball playing wall soccer with them!  Pretty exciting!  Thanks also for the free tickets to the home opener tomorrow!  Good luck Stampeders!

Grade 3 is awesome!

Our welcome bulletin board!  It's going to be a great year getting to know the special kids who created these mini figures!  Love the creativity!!

Terry Fox Walk

We celebrated Terry Fox last Friday morning by walking around Legion Park. It was wonderful to see lots of families join us. Thanks for coming out!
